I am from NY state and have traveled through Canada Alaska etc... But I have never seen cold like this today 3/13/2014 in Texas!!!!!!! Wow

Hitting a road block
We have recently slowed down a great deal. My business is selling security systems. I have done this from home the last few weeks but business has dramatically slowed down. So as I stated in a previous blog I am not going to stay still! Today I will be canvasing a neighborhood in search of gold. I will update you guys with my results. How get started in your home based business
Hello all,
I hope this post will help all of you motivated entrepreneurs out their get started. I have been working from home for about 2 months now! I will admit it is one of the scariest things that I have ever done. Thankfully I have implemented a few basic principles that, in my opinion, have made all the difference.
The first obstacle in going into business for yourself is how to get started. Well I am here to tell you that the first thing you must do is to make the decision! If I were you I would abandon all comfort. The worst thing that you could possibly do is to have a plan B because when things get tough, and they will, you need to not have any other option. So the first step in working from home or becoming self employed is just making the DECISION to succeed in this project!
Once the decision has been made its time to start on your journey. After I quit my job and made the decision to work from home I made sure to separate my job from my home life. This can be a little tricky since you'r job will be at home. I did this by assigning a room in my house only to business I made it my sanctuary. No one could come in without either having an appointment or calling me not even my wife. I believe that having a space dedicated to your business is crucial because time=money and any second that is taken away from you because your wife or husband wants to "talk" translates to money lost. So the second stage of getting started is to identify your space.
After the first two have been made the rest is pretty simple. Now, all you have to do is WORK! I dont mean work at the same tempo you used to work. I mean "HUSTLE" understand that now the sky is the limit and you have the ability to make whatever lifestyle you choose become a reality. All you have to do is WORK WORK WORK.
If you are in sales, like me, that means wake up at the crack of dawn to get my work out in and my breakfast done. As soon as I am legally allowed to start making calls I am on the phone talking to as many prospects as I can!
I take on sort of relaxed desperation. I know that every second compounds on itself and builds up to a bigger picture. My goal is to take advantage of not only the day but the hour, minute, second, millisecond. From all the books I have read, all the audio programs I have listened to on success agree on the same few key principals.
1. Do not be afraid to Fail, its going to happen eventually no one is perfect. The only thing you can do is know that eventually we all have setbacks both big and small. your success is not determined by how many setbacks you have it is determined by the amount of times you just regroup and keep going!
2. There is no Shortcut in life! Come to the understanding that there is nothing in this life for free. Everything that is worth having requires back breaking effort. If you want to succeed buckle down and "Hustle".
3. Do not let Excuses rule your LIFE! "excuses are the tools used by the incompetent to build monuments of nothingness, bridges to nowhere and those who use them NEVER amount to anything"-
